How To Use BumperCar » Saving Text And Graphics

Eventually you'll be seized with the desire to save a memento or two of your travels on the Web, perhaps for safekeeping, or perhaps to use in another application.

In general, if there's something in an BumperCar window that you'd like to have elsewhere, you can simply select it and drag it. Images can be saved in the appropriate formats by dragging them to Finder windows or the desktop (if an image is also a clickable link, you'll need to hold the Shift key while dragging -- otherwise a link will be saved instead). Dragging text to the Finder will save it as a text clipping. You can also drag images and text into other applications that can handle them. And of course, you can use the standard commands in the Edit menu to get data from one application to another easily.

If that isn't enough, there are plenty of other ways to save web pages and images:

To save a web page's source HTML (or an image in its original format), choose Save As... from the File menu.

Also, elements in web pages can be saved to disk by Control-clicking on them and choosing one of the Save items from the contextual menu.
